Reserviläisurheiluliitto (RESUL) is a Finnish organization for former soldiers who want to practice military sports. RESUL wanted to support its members' shooting practice by launching a mobile based diary for registering shooting results. In Finland when applying for a shooting license, an applicant needs to prove he/she is actively practicing shooting - hence the need for the diary.

Challenges: 

  • Service and system design

  • UI/UX

  • Integration with user database

  • Drop down menus and empty fields

  • Creation of a pdf document

Result:

This app is called "Kymppi" and it is a great example of a simple and effective tool that serves a purpose. The need for features was very limited and Devolon was able to create the service in a short period of one month. Nevertheless Kymppi now helps the members to fulfill their needs required by law.
